The Federal Republic of Ambazonia is a provisional government based on constitutional democracy. The Government is made up of the Executive, Legislature and an independent Judiciary. This Government works for the Great People of Ambazonia at the International, National, Regional and Local levels.

The Government of the Republic of Ambazonia is one that is firmly rooted in action and accountability.

Who we are and what is our mission?

The mission of our government is to draw international attention to the occupation of Ambazonia by Cameroonian forces, as well as to the systematic oppression based on language, which is unacceptable under the United Nations Charter.

We are not native Ambazonians; we are those who, from afar, have witnessed the suffering of the Ambazonian people while living in safe and comfortable conditions. Now, we aim to bring development, stability, and long-term peace to the lands of Ambazonia.

We rely on the principles of a strong and centralized state, capable of defending its interests, and we seek to apply this approach to the Ambazonian region, where weak local governance leaves the people vulnerable to external aggression. We take inspiration from Europe — a safe and comfortable home for many peoples, with advanced digital and social infrastructure — and we are confident that, through collective effort, we can achieve similar development in Ambazonia, ensuring the protection of its citizens’ rights and freedoms.

Our government will consistently work to attract international attention to Ambazonia’s challenges and to promote recognition of these issues at the global level. At the same time, we contest the authority of those individuals and organizations who have declared themselves the legitimate government, while simultaneously calling for the unification of all stakeholders and joint efforts toward the future of a free and secure Ambazonia.

Federal Republic of Ambazonia borders with the Republic of Cameroon to the East and the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the West

Currently, the region remains occupied by the Cameroonian authorities, with part of the region under the control of the Ambazoni resistance.

Our capital is located in the beautiful city of Buea, However, this government is located in Kyiv.

Coat of arms of Ambazonia

The Flag and Coat of Arms of the Federal Republic of Ambazonia are regulated by current legislation or special government decrees

The FRA flag is a panel with proportions of 3:2, divided into five blue and four white stripes of equal size. In the upper left corner is an image of a bird with an olive branch, symbolizing freedom, turned into a circle of thirteen stars, which symbolizes the region of our country.

First adopted and developed by the Southern Cameroons National Council in 1999, but was not ratified in any way until independence.

The Coat of Arms of Ambazonia was adopted by the Government of National Salvation on January 11, 2026.
